Bangladesh stands at a pivotal moment in its engagement with the global economy. The country's graduation from Least Developed Country status in November 2026, the recently concluded Bangladesh–US Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART), and the deepening of bilateral relationships with major trading partners all demand a platform capable of providing rigorous, independent analysis of the opportunities and challenges ahead.

FPI Bangladesh is positioned to be that platform. Its work on international trade and investment policy encompasses:

    Analysis of bilateral trade agreements and their implications for Bangladesh's export sectors, investment climate, and industrial competitiveness.

In 2026, FPI Bangladesh is co-organizing the Bangladesh–US Business Forum 2026 with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham Bangladesh), a business-to-business dialogue on the opportunities created by the ART — covering trade expansion, investment financing through DFC and US EXIM Bank, textile competitiveness, and the US cotton opportunity for Bangladesh's spinning and garment industries.
